Martin refuses to let her leave, but she can hand a list of necessities to one of Martin’s men, who will take care of the shopping. Upset, Bree walks away from Roger.Ĭlaire asks Governor Martin (Eugene O’Hare) if she can depart the ship to retrieve vital supplies for Elizabeth. However, Bree protests, reminding her husband that Wendigo essentially sat idly by while Claire was arrested and assaulted by the villagers. Roger tells Bree about meeting Wendigo and his desire to help the time traveler. Elizabeth discloses her knowledge regarding the sentence hanging over Claire’s head. Our healer checks her vitals and asks about the medications she’s been taking. Claire learns that Elizabeth has been under the weather. He learns she was taken aboard Governor Martin’s ship to work as a healer.Ĭlaire meets Elizabeth Martin (Reanne Farley), the governor’s pregnant wife. Jamie asks Sadie and Tolliver about his wife’s whereabouts. Unfortunately, Jamie and Ian arrive at the jail right after Claire departs. Meanwhile, two soldiers take Claire away after Sadie confesses that she’s the murderer, not Claire. He asks Roger, a fellow time traveler, for help returning to the 20th century. While Jamie and Ian ride to Claire’s location, Roger ( Richard Rankin) and Bree ( Sophie Skelton) walk toward the church where Roger will preach to the army encampment outside it. Sadie comforts Claire as Maisie Tolliver (Liza Sadovy), who supervises the imprisoned women, gives Claire a breakdown regarding what’ll happen next. Next, we see Claire in jail with her new bestie, Sadie (Sarah Finigan). Jamie knows, deep in his gut, that Claire’s still alive. Meanwhile, Ian ( John Bell) relays the plan to Jamie ( Sam Heughan), who’s only half paying attention. She hangs from the rope as it creaks while the scene fades to black. Initially, she resists, but he overpowers her. The man behind Claire tries to push her off the edge. Richard Brown ( Chris Larkin) smiles coldly from the crowd.
